Hi, I'm Rubin [unwieldy middle name] James. Most folks just call me James. I have a Bachelor's degree in IT and I used to be a code monkey working at Sanofi. I've mostly worked in the fields of bioinformatics and chemoinformatics, and I've mostly just coded in Python, with a little bit of R. I know my way around the RDKit, and my usual strategy to solve any problem is to basically throw a whole bunch of graph theory at it until it goes away. And yes, it's worked out pretty well so far, somehow.

I made this site just to write a little blog, and to serve links to whatever little project I happen to work on. The blogs will be about anything that I seem to waste my time on at the moment, so I cant guarantee it'll be consistent... or coherent.
